If you have, at least once, wondered why enjoy the perfect coffee only in your favorite café and not at the comfort of your own house, then keep on reading, because we gathered the best tips for you, so that you can earn the title of: ''The Home Barista''. It sounds appealing, right?

Well, I'm not going to lie, if you want to master the art of coffee, you will need first to invest some cash on it. But, if you are a coffeeholic then it's worth it. Besides, it will end up saving a lot of money over the time.

The first step to make a barista level coffee is to buy the right equipment and why not a professional one? A good espresso machine can cost up to 3,000 but as long as you are not intrested in making a bussiness out of it, then I wouldn't recommend it. You can find an affordable espresso machine though, in a variety of prices. So, with a little bit of research you can find the ideal one for you.

The second step is to choose wisely the variety of coffee that you are going to use. You can try different types before deciding what suits you best. Take a look at the different varieties and find your favorite one. We strongly suggest you to chose a good roaster place were you can find fresh coffee beans where they can grind it for you. Unless you have your own grinder.

Next step, is to grind the coffee by yourself. It may take you time, but it will repay you, when you drink it and notice the difference in its taste and aroma.

The fourth step is to beware of oxidization.  Once you pour the shot, then you need to drink it or serve it as soon as possible. This happens because if you let your espresso exposed to oxygen more than needed then it starts having a bitterer taste.

Next one, is using proper water. You can either use bottled water or filtered water. That's up to you.

Last, but not least heat is an important factor when it comes to coffee making process. Leave your coffee in a full boil for 45 seconds in a temperature of about  91C and 96 C. While the temperature for milk in latte or cappuccino should be steamed from 60C and 70C.

Additional equipment that you could use:

1. Thermometer so as to check the water temperature.

2. Coffee scale so as to mesure the exact amount of coffee you need per cup that you make. You can use a food scale as well.

3. Electric Kettle for boilling the water.

4. Coffee grind for grinding the coffee beans

5. Coffee Brewer

6. Cool coffee mugs so as to rule in the world of coffeelovers.

It may seem challenging to you, but if you find these techniques intresting and you are more than enthousiastic to try them then there is no need of second thoughts. Who knows, you might discover a hidden talent or maybe from a Home barista you evolve to Pro barista!
