Athens Coffee Festival 2017: 3 days full of coffee
12:10:00 PMThis is the second year in a row that Athens Coffee Festival takes place in Technopolis of the City of Athens. It is a great feast dedicated to coffee and its culture, and is equally addressed to professional baristas and, of course, the general public!
Coffee Festival has become a tradition both in Europe and USA, as it brings closer all the coffee lovers in a big event full of coffee. The Athens Coffee Festival with gastronomic, educational, entertainment and commercial content, invites us to discover the secrets of coffee and enjoy incredible flavors.

From 30 September to 2 October 2017, you have the chance to join the Festival, try a variety of coffee drinks, interact with people who share the same passion and buy useful coffee equipment or tasty snacks and beverages. On the occasion of the International Day of Coffee which is celebrated every 1st October of each year, the company ''FORUM SA'' organized this big event under the auspices of SCA Greece, the Greek section of the Specialty Coffee Association. The entrance ticket is 4 euros per day, which makes it affordable for everyone to visit.
By entering the venue you will find yourself very excited wondering where to go first, so you better advise the visitor guide. You will find a lot of stands which are willing to offer you coffee, chocolate, tea or cocktail, while if you feel hungry you can find delicious street food. Coffee professionals from Greece and abroad will take part in seminars, presentations that are going to be held during the festival in two specially designed areas: Lab (seminars, workshops) and Chatroom (presentations, conversations). In addition, for the first time this year, a fully equipped Cupping Room will operate, which will host the tasting trials of fine and rare cafes from around the world.Also, within the framework of the Festival, will be held the Greek Roasting Championship. Of course, music could not be missing from such an event, so every day famous artists and DJ's are performing live.

The Lab: Details make the difference in the process of coffee making. That is what you will learn in the Lab. Seminars and Workshops will show you the way to the perfect coffee.
The Chatroom: In the chatroom, you can take part in conversations or watch movies, that have to do with coffee. Interactive presentations and talks where attendees can solve their queries and learn tips from professionals around coffee issues is what you will, also, find there.
Cupping Room: There you will taste new coffees and enjoy the experience of cupping. You will practice the sense of smelling and tasting the coffee as it is!

This year's aim of the event is to connect as much as possible coffee professionalists from and visitors from all over the world. At the same time, the festival appeals to the general public and consumers who love coffee and are interested in the new trends.The organizers give the opportunity to the exhibitors to develop specially arranged seats where they can serve their coffee and their beverages .
Greece is a very promising coffee market that is blooming the last year a lot! The festival had more things to attend and more interesting compared to last year and we hope each year to be even better!
